Pruning Tree Dahlias
My tree dahlias are coming along quite nicely – I took the first tips out of the stems today, and will do that three of four times more, and get heaps more flowers on stems that are much less likely to blow over.

I tried growing them from cuttings this year and 10 have struck. As well as the four original plants that may be a few too many for one garden! Luckily I have ShellyC's garden and the one where my son lives to offload some excess plants. Looks like early today will be good as rain is forecast for later in the day. Are yours all mauve, Chloe, or do you have white, and think there is a yellowish coloured one?
